Carla Campopiano is an international flutist, early-childhood music specialist, and director of WAW Music, an independent program that provides high-quality music education for schools, families, and community organizations.

She develops structured early-childhood curricula, family engagement programs, and customized school residencies that integrate world music, movement, rhythm, and foundational instrumental skills. With over 20 years of artistic and educational experience across the U.S., Latin America, and Europe, Carla brings a modern, research-informed, and culturally rich approach to music learning.

Her work focuses on delivering meaningful, developmentally appropriate, and joyful musical experiences for children and the communities that support them.

VIOLIN/VOCALS TEACHER

Candelaria Aguilar is a dedicated music educator specializing in early-childhood and youth instruction in violin and voice. With hands-on experience teaching students ages 2–12, she creates engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that blend technique, musicality, and confidence-building. Candelaria has taught at WAW Music School, leading individual and group classes created by WAW Music School, as well as private violin and vocal lessons focused on healthy foundations, pitch, rhythm, and expression.

She is passionate about nurturing a lifelong love of music and helping each student grow at their own pace through patience, structure, and creative motivation.

GUITAR/VOCAL/ANDEAN INSTRUMENTS TEACHER

VIctor Murillo is a Multi-instrumentalist and composer from Ecuador with over 30 years of experience as a worldwide touring and recording artist. He holds a master's degree in Cultural Development and traveled to many countries in Asia, Europe and America as a cultural representative of his native Ecuador. He has produced 7 albums of his own music and collaborated with many artists from all over the world. He's currently working on his latest album which reflects his vision and passion for world music. He teaches guitar, improvisation, sight reading, latin american rhythms, music theory and andean instruments like the quena, pan flutes ( zampoñas) and charango.

CELLO TEACHER

Fabiana Betelu Machado is a cellist trained at the Conservatorio de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires “Astor Piazzolla”, where she earned the title of Profesora Superior de Música with a specialization in Violoncello.

She has performed with orchestras such as the Orquesta de Cuerdas de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Orquesta Libertador San Martín, and Orquesta del Oeste, and is currently part of the cello section of the Orquesta Municipal de General Rodríguez. Her work also includes popular music performances with Néstor Garnica, appearances at major Argentine festivals, participation in the musical “La nota mágica”, and the film soundtrack “Un tango más”.

Fabiana is also a member of the Latin American ensemble “Aromitos Musicales.”

With 17 years of teaching experience, she offers personalized cello lessons—both in-person and online—for beginners through advanced students.

Natalio Lopez

Baterista, Percusionista y Bajista.

Desde temprana edad comenzó a interesarle la música , a los 9 años inició sus estudios de bateria.

Estudió bajo en la E.M.P.A y de forma privada se formó con varios referentes de la batería, Percusión y Bajo.

A sus 11 años se sube por primera vez a un escenario, desde ese entonces comienza su carrera como instrumentista. Realiza shows, grabaciones y giras con diferentes artistas de Argentina y de otros países.

Actualmente dicta clases en su estudio y es docente de la escuela de musica Coral.

PIANO AND VIOLIN INSTRUCTOR

Antonio went to the Manhattan School of Music and works as an organist and choir director at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. He’s performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and Lincoln Center. Antonio has won several awards for his accompaniment and musicianship, including 3rd place in the New York Artists International Competition, which led to a performance at Lincoln Center. He’s also worked with Broadway singers from shows like Hamilton and Spongebob.

In addition to his performances, Antonio teaches private and group violin lessons as part of the WAW Program, a unique curriculum carefully designed by WAW instructor Carla Campopiano. This program creates a nurturing learning environment based on imitation, following principles from the Suzuki and Abreu methods. Antonio focuses on developing students’ musical abilities by mirroring the way children naturally learn their mother tongue—through listening, repetition, and gradual progression. By integrating these methods, Antonio ensures students build strong technical skills while fostering a love for music, promoting both independence and creativity in their musical journey.
